Development Specialist @ The Volunteer Center of the Triad

The Volunteer Center began in 1963 as a volunteer connection program within the United Way. 57 years later, TVC is an established 501(c)3 serving all the Triad; the leading convener in our community, bringing volunteers, businesses, civic groups, corporations and non-profits together around a common goal: to serve. The Volunteer Center is viewed from the community-at-large as a capacity building organization.

Mission: The Volunteer Center strengthens our community by creating meaningful volunteer connections. We connect people, promote volunteerism, support nonprofits and build partnerships.

The Volunteer Center recently completed a strategic review for its organizational development and marketing plan. That review highlighted the organization’s critical need to employ a Development Specialist – a new position.
