The Volunteer Center of the Triad was excited to partner with Gilbarco Veeder-Root again this year for their annual Vontier Cares event on Thursday, August 31. Gilbarco employees completed 4,000 kits (including toiletry kits, baby kits, school kits, and snack packs). These kits were distributed between 13 local nonprofit organizations. It is awesome to have a global company headquartered here in Greensboro participate in our Corporate Caring program. It is so important for corporations to engage and serve the community where the employees live. We appreciate the opportunity to help GVR strengthen its connection to the Piedmont Triad region and demonstrate what it means for a company to be socially responsible.
