Corporate Caring Challenge is a corporate competition in which companies partner with local nonprofit organizations to complete sustainable projects. The idea is to join nonprofits in need of support and companies who want to give back to the community in an impactful, meaningful way. The Volunteer Center will coordinate the event, matching nonprofit group volunteer opportunities with the interests of local companies for one day of on-site service projects. Teams will collaborate before the event, then help plan how the project will be completed on the Challenge Day. Projects will take place on September 30th. 

In November, The Volunteer Center will invite the participating nonprofits and company teams to the Breakfast of Champions, where the nonprofits will present the projects and, most importantly, the impact made by the completion of the project. Voting will take place at the event and the company whose project is deemed to be most impactful will be named Corporate Impact Champion.

Projects will range in size to accommodate the companies’ ability to fulfill the project needs.

The Volunteer Center is mindful of COVID protocols and will ensure that each project opportunity falls within the recommended CDC guidelines at the time of the project and the event.
