Each year in the Fall, we have the pleasure of recognizing outstanding volunteers, corporate groups and nonprofit organizations that enrich and connect our community through service. This year, the event will be virtual, awards show style! The Volunteer Center of the Triad will collect nominations and votes for the following categories and announce all nominees and winners on November 5th, 2020.

Nominations due by OCT 1, 2020!

The categories include:
Emerging Youth Volunteer: This award will honor a young person, between the ages of 14 and 20 who exhibits a passion for service to others through volunteer work in the community.

COVID Hero: We are looking for nominees who have gone above and beyond during the pandemic.

Corporate Volunteer Group: This category honors companies, large and small, for their outstanding volunteer contributions within the community.

Volunteer of the Year: Meant to honor someone who is making significant contributions to the community through their time, actions, talents and dedication.

Nonprofit Volunteer Program of the Year: Nonprofits in our community are working harder than ever to assist those in need. This award category will honor an exemplary volunteer program within a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization, school system or municipality.

The Sharon Hoard Lifetime of Service Award: This category is to honor someone who has dedicated their life to the service of others.
