Join us April 2, 2022 for the 28th Annual Human Race!
The Human Race is a 5K where participants walk, run, or roll to support their favorite charity.
Since 1994, The Volunteer Center of the Triad has been managing this community fundraising event, helping raise over 5 million for local nonprofits. The Human Race is the community working at its best: nonprofits form teams and fundraise for themselves, companies form teams and allow employees to choose their favorite charity to support, and area businesses donate goods and services like food for the after party celebration, paper to print the posters, water to keep our participants hydrated, and prizes for our top fundraisers, just to name a few. Many of our 100 nonprofit teams tell us this in their largest fundraiser of the year, and they do not have the capacity to mount an event like this without our help. We take care of all the event details so the nonprofits can focus on fundraising!
The Human Race is a unique way for our community to come together:
About 100 different nonprofits form teams and recruit members to fundraise for their missions.
Dozens of companies form teams and their employees can choose the cause they are most passionate about
Anywhere from 3,000-5,000 people come together on race day to celebrate including people of all ages, kids in strollers, folks who use wheelchairs, as well as leashed, friendly dogs. We are so excited to be pack in-person this year! We hope you’ll join in the fundraising for our amazing nonprofit partners!
Be sure to join us Saturday, April 2nd at LeBauer Park in downtown Greensboro at 9:00 AM!
