About the Event
Welcome to our Board Member Matching, a unique opportunity co-hosted by The Volunteer Center and Guilford Nonprofit Consortium. This collaborative effort connects individuals eager to give back through board service with some of the finest nonprofit organizations in the Triad. This unique event is designed to facilitate meaningful connections, fostering collaborations that drive positive change in our community.
What to Expect:
- Presentations: Up to 15 nonprofit organizations will have a few minutes each to showcase their missions and impact.
- Speed-Dating Round: Dive into a fast-paced round where each nonprofit representative meets with candidates for 3-minute conversations.
- Connection Forms: At the end of the evening, both board member candidates and nonprofit organizations will submit preferences.
- Match Notifications: We’ll analyze preferences and notify everyone of their potential connections.
